CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
At Children’s Ministry, our mission is to help children grow in faith by being WRAPPED in God’s love. We equip children with a strong spiritual foundation so they can confidently navigate the world, knowing who they are and whose they are in Christ.
Through age-appropriate teaching and caring relationships, children learn to WRAP their lives in faith by:
- Worshiping God
- Reading God’s Word
- Praying daily

IMPACT YOUTH MINISTRY
The purpose of the First Baptist Church Youth Ministry is to support young people in their Christian growth by nurturing a personal relationship with God, grounding them in biblical truth, and encouraging a lifestyle that honors Him.
Through discipleship, meaningful relationships, and engaging activities, we strive to equip youth with the tools they need to grow spiritually, lead confidently, and live out their faith in everyday life.
Our ministry is committed to providing a safe, loving, and supportive environment where youth are encouraged to learn, ask questions, build strong relationships, and develop into faithful disciples and future leaders.

SENIORS
UNIQUE SENIOR CARE
The Unique Senior Care Ministry serves adults ages 62 and over by supporting their spiritual, physical, and social well-being. Rooted in the mission of First Baptist Church, members serve as prayerful intercessors, share their wisdom, and remain actively engaged in church and community life while being valued and cared for as part of our church family.

FINE ARTS’ MINISTRY
The Fine Arts Ministry celebrates and nurtures God-given creativity as an expression of worship. Through music, dance, drama, visual arts, and other creative expressions, the ministry glorifies God, enriches worship experiences, and shares the Gospel in meaningful ways. We are committed to developing artistic gifts in a spirit of excellence, fellowship, and service, inviting all who are called to use their talents for God’s glory.

FAMILY LIFE CENTER
The Family Life Center exists to serve families within First Baptist Church and the surrounding community by meeting urgent and essential needs. Through the provision of urgent housing and nutritious food offered in partnership with the Contra Costa County Food Bank we provide compassionate support during times of crisis while reflecting Christ’s love through practical service.
The mission of the Family Life Center is to meet essential needs and support long-term stability for families and individuals through food assistance, urgent services, referrals, and spiritual encouragement.

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES
Pastor’s Bible Study
Deepen your faith with our Pastor-led Bible Study! This class combines engaging teaching, interactive discussion, and practical application for everyday life. Designed for all spiritual stages, participants can join in person at the church, online via Zoom, or through a hybrid format that fits your schedule.
Whether you’re seeking to strengthen your faith, ask questions, or grow in fellowship with others, this Bible Study provides a welcoming space to explore Scripture, connect with fellow believers, and apply God’s Word to your life.
Small Groups
At First Baptist Church, Small Groups are a place for connection, growth, and community. Our members meet regularly to learn, share, laugh, pray, and support one another on their spiritual journeys. Groups meet at least once a week, either in person at the church or online via Zoom, to accommodate a variety of ages and life stages. There’s a Small Group for everyone in our church family, and we invite you to explore the options to find the one that’s right for you.
