Raising Leaders. Building Faith. Changing the World.
Meets every Sunday morning in the JC Ward Fellowship Hal
At Hunter Hill, we believe every young person has a God-given purpose, and our Young Champions ministry helps them discover it. Designed for ages 5 to 18, Young Champions is a vibrant, fun, and engaging space where kids and teens can grow in their understanding of God, build friendships, and learn what it means to live with faith, courage, and purpose.
We meet every Sunday morning in the JC Ward Fellowship Hall for an energetic experience filled with interactive lessons, creative activities, and moments that inspire a lifelong walk with Christ. Special events like Vacation Bible School add extra excitement, bringing themed adventures that combine learning, fun, and community.
Under the leadership of Rev. DJ Tillman, Young Champions encourages every child to rise to their full potential not only in the church but in life.
Men's MinistryMen’s Ministry
Brothers in Unity. Men on Mission.
Meets every 2nd Saturday of every other month at 9:00 AM for meaningful fellowship and planning.
The Men’s Ministry at Hunter Hill is a brotherhood built on faith, service, and encouragement. We are more than just a group; we are a family of men who stand together, lift each other up, and challenge one another to live with integrity and purpose.
Our mission is to equip men to lead in their homes, in their communities, and in their church. We do this by coming together to share experiences, encourage growth, and create opportunities to serve others. Whether we are supporting church initiatives, working on community service projects, or enjoying fellowship, our gatherings provide moments to recharge spiritually and connect as brothers in Christ.
Under the leadership of Deacon Eric Mack, we are committed to being examples of godly manhood, strong in faith, steadfast in service, and united in brotherhood.

We are mothers, daughters, sisters, professionals, and leaders, united by our shared love for Christ and commitment to making a difference.
Led by Deaconess Pam Mack, the Women’s Ministry provides a space for connection, mentorship, and inspiration. Through fellowship gatherings, service opportunities, and special programs, we uplift one another and work together to meet the needs of our church and community.
We believe in the power of women to impact lives, whether through acts of kindness, leadership in ministry, or nurturing future generations. Every woman has a place here, and every voice matters.
Usher's MinistryUsher’s Ministry
Welcoming Hearts. Serving Hands.
Meets every meet every 1st Saturday at 10:00 AM to pray, prepare, and plan how we can serve better
The Ushers Ministry is the smiling face of Hunter Hill. From the moment members and guests walk through our doors, our ushers ensure they feel the warmth, order, and love that define our worship experience. We serve not just with our hands, but with our hearts, helping to set the tone for meaningful encounters with God.
Our responsibilities go beyond seating guests. We provide assistance during services, support special events, and help create an atmosphere where everyone can focus on worship without distraction. We believe a warm greeting can change someone’s day and sometimes their life.
Led by Brother Charles Cooley, our ushers are committed to excellence, hospitality, and faithful service.
Media MinistryMedia Ministry
Capturing the Message. Sharing the Mission.
In today’s world, the Gospel reaches far beyond the church walls, and the Media Ministry makes it possible. From livestreaming our services to managing sound, lighting, photography, and video, we ensure that the message of Christ is delivered with clarity and excellence to everyone, everywhere.
Led by Sis. Kim Rankins, the Media Ministry blends creativity with technology to create an engaging worship experience both in-person and online. Every camera shot, every sound check, and every social media post is an opportunity to connect people with the heart of Hunter Hill and the hope of Jesus Christ.
Whether you have experience in media production or simply a desire to learn, there is a place for you here to help us share God’s message with the world.
Music MinistryMusic Ministry
Worship in Spirit and in Truth.
The Music Ministry at Hunter Hill is the heartbeat of our worship experience. With voices and instruments lifted to the glory of God, we lead the congregation in songs that inspire, encourage, and draw hearts closer to Him.
Under the direction of Minister of Music James Jackson, our choirs, praise teams, and musicians work together to create an atmosphere where God’s presence is felt. From traditional hymns to contemporary gospel, our music celebrates the richness of worship in all its forms.
The Music Ministry is more than just singing. It is a calling to serve God through the gift of music. We rehearse with purpose, minister with passion, and worship with all that we have.
Outreach MinistryOutreach Ministry
Love in Action. Hope in Motion.
The Outreach Ministry is where faith meets action. We are committed to showing the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church, meeting both spiritual and practical needs in our community.
One of our key initiatives is the Food Pantry and Clothes Closet, open every Wednesday at 12:00 PM, providing essential items to individuals and families in need. We partner with community organizations, host seasonal drives, and engage in hands-on service projects that bring hope to those facing hardship.
Our mission is simple: to be the hands and feet of Jesus, extending compassion to our neighbors and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Breaking Chains MinistryBreaking Chains Ministry
Finding Freedom. Living Whole.
Meets every other 2nd Saturday of every other month at 10:00 AM
Breaking Chains Ministry is a safe and supportive space for anyone who is overcoming, or has overcome, personal struggles and addictions. We understand that everyone battles something, and we believe that no one should have to fight alone.
We all struggle with a stronghold, that thing which holds us strong. For some, it may be an addiction to tobacco, drugs, or alcohol. For others, it may be a non-substance struggle such as shopping, procrastination, gambling, food, the internet, or any habit that keeps us from being all that God calls us to be.
Breaking Chains is a place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. It is a place where we encourage one another, share our journeys, and point each other toward the hope and healing found in Christ.
Under the leadership of Deacon Phillip Harris, Breaking Chains Ministry is committed to walking alongside each person on their journey to freedom.
